Hudson is 1!

This cutie celebrated his first birthday a few weeks
ago! His mommy, daddy, and I all worked together
at Riverview! He was seriously one of the best
babies I've ever photographed! I am babysitting
Allie on Friday and we are going to play dress-up
since she is about to outgrow some cute little
outfits!

The travelin' Chef!

At Bruce's new job, he is going to be in
charge of a new bakery at the college! He
is going to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in
August for a week of training! I wish I
could go with him! I have always wanted
to travel up there. He is very excited
and even though he will have class every
day, I am sure he will do some sight-
seeing!

A much-needed Mini Vacation!

My cousin David invited me to ride down with him to
Pensacola Beach for the weekend. Uncle Kelly, Randee
and Amber were already down there, so we drove
down after David got off work Friday. What did we
ride in? The Corvette! Haha! It will be funny to
tell my child how I went to Florida in a 'vette
when I was pregnant! Hahah...the ride was fine..
but getting in and out of it was the tricky part!
We had a great trip and I am SO glad my sweet
husband worked for me Sunday ( I help clean dr's
offices on Wed. and Sun.) I also got to go on
the Navy Base for shopping and the Aviation
Museum! Here are a few pics!

Hey Baby!

Here is our little "peanut" haha! Bruce thinks I put
too much on my facebook page, so I'm only going
to post ultrasound pics on my blog...they said
the baby is about the size of an olive...WOW!!
The neatest thing of all was seeing the little
heartbeat...definitely made me cry!!

I'm gonna try....

to be a better blogger! I have really been slacking
since we moved back. I am on facebook if anyone
keeps up with this and doesn't have me as a friend
on there! Anyways, lots to report...how about for
starters...I'M PREGNANT~ hahah...lots of things
come with that statement ya know! Including:
* LOTS of nausea until lunch, thankfully the
Dr. gave me a prescription for meds yesterday:)
* No more Dr. Pepper ( I miss you SO much)
* Weight gain (boooooooo)
* A CONSTANT urge to pee ...this won't go
anytime soon I'm afraid!!!
* Moodiness...thank you hormones!
* No more fried foods ....those are the
Chef's orders...he is trying to get me to eat
eggs, but it ain't gonna happen~ lol



Oh yeah, Bruce got a new JOB!!!! He is now a
Chef at JSU!!! He starts sometime next week!
We are firm believers that prayer WORKS!!
Thank you for all the prayers that were sent
up for us! It was a very scary couple of
weeks, to find out we were expecting our
first child and no word from the rig~ it all
worked out in the end though! I am thrilled
that he will be home every night and with
me through the pregnancy! It is all brand
new to the both us haha!


We had our first doctors visit yesterday! I
am only 9 weeks along (we originally thought
12) but luckily they were still able to do
an ultrasound! Baby Walsh is perfectly
healthy and looks like a little peanut! Mom
is fine as well! I was thrilled to learn that
I can have one caffinated drink a day and
they did labwork as well! Everything is perfect
so far! I hope I have as good a pregnancy
as my sister did! We go back on August 6!

Even though it sounds cliche, an old
quote has really hit me hard this week:
"God never closes a door without opening
a window" ....this has been SO true
for Bruce and me! We moved back home
to help out and it seemed like we were
being punished or something....we had
no money, found out we were pregnant, but
the Lord HAS provided and given Bruce
a great job with great hours and benefits!
God is good, all the time, God is good!

Fun in the Sun!

Me and Natalie took Allie to her Great Aunt & Uncle's
yesterday to go for a swim! We had so much fun! I
hadn't even been in a pool yet...thanks to lots
of morning sickness...hopefully it's about to
subside...I sure had missed swimming!
