That's what you call a SHUTOUT!!!

ROLL TIDE!...lot's of Midwestern folks learned that term tonight at Slider's !!! We watched the Bama game at my in-laws, and afterwards we went to Slider's to watch the ND game...everytime they showed highlights from the beatdown..err..Iron Bowl...I yelled "ROLL TIDE"...so everyone caught on and cheered with me...what a great game! It is about time they silenced all the critics ...now on to the Gators!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had our Turkey day at my in-law's new house...it is in a newer subdivision and I lovvveee it...anyways, we had so much food..and I have to brag on Bruce because he made me "dressin'" ! It was sooo yummy...much better than "stuffing"! After lunch we all watched "Christmas Vacation" and Allison even knew which scenes came next...this is one movie I always have to watch! After the movie, Kathy and I planned out our Black Friday map...we are hitting Walmart, Kohls, Toys-R-Us, and the University Mall..and I can't wait! She got up with me last year to go shopping in Trussville...I get so excited about all the deals, after all, my mom did raise a "bargain shopper"! I'm off to bed now...gotta get a few hours sleep before the big shopping day!

Things I am Thankful For...

Since it is Thanksgiving Eve...I thought I would make a list of things I am thankful for. Happy Turkey Day Everyone!

1) I am thankful that I was born in the U.S.A., where I have the freedom of speech the right to vote, and am not mistreated because I am a female!
2) I am thankful for a wonderful husband who treats me like the princess I am! (haha)
3) I am thankful for my loving family and friends because without their support, I would have never had the courage to try something new!
4) I am thankful for a great job that is not in a hospital~I am definitely an office person and I don't miss the drama of it at all!
5) I am thankful for the talents God has given me, like my calligraphy and my photography, and I realize more and more that I am an artistic soul!
6) I am thankful that I am from a small town because I think it makes you appreciate the little things alot more!
7) Last, but not least, I am thankful that I have the privilege of being a Southern Belle, because we are the best out there!

Congratulations Shelly & Bryan!

Ever seen a snow-covered baseball field? This was the view from Shelly & Bryan's reception! We had a great time and even though there were lots of people , I was able to get some good shots! They had such a great time and luckily it didn't snow!

Love is in the Air!

Since today is Shelly's wedding...I am thinking back on my wedding...I work side-by-side with Kay...and it has been interesting to hear her take on things...she was so nervous..mainly because the guest list got longer and longer..we can all relate to that haha..planning a wedding is so stressful....and as much as I love weddings..I would much rather be the photographer/bridesmaid/guest than being the bride...I have taken pictures at Shelly's bridal shower, I took her bridal portraits, and I am also shooting some at the reception, and it's a walk in the park compared to being the one in white! They are so much fun though..I love when you get the reception because everyone can let their guard down and have a good time..I love taking the "fun" shots...moms and dads dancing...kids dancing...even the corny group dances are so funny...but the best thing about a wedding is the main theme:LOVE!
