You have to crawl before you walk...

My sister told me this yesterday. I guess
the more I think about it, the more it
makes sense to me. I worked so hard on
my first jewelry show on Friday. I bought
lots of "give-a-way" jewelry and food and
had a bunch of fun games planned. Well,
sometimes God has other plans! I only had
2 people come..my best
friends, Deborah and Jessica. I was
so upset, even though Alisha kept assuring
me that the best show she ever had was one
that only 2 people came. I was ok until I
got home and Bruce came running in the
kitchen with a big smile...I just bursted
into tears! I know it's a "pregnant"
thing...but I have put spent so much money
to get this going and I was so disappointed!
So he took me out to eat and then of course
I felt better! I will not close out my show
until Friday so I am going to put my selling
skills to the test this week...we will see
how good I do! On a lighter note, I did
have a yardsale on Saturday morning and
did pretty good! Definitely worth getting
up early for! I think Bruce, Jess, Deb,
Dad and me will
have another one pretty soon!

Jazzman's Bakery & Baby Update!

If anyone is ever at JSU, check out the new
Jazzman's Bakery! They opened yesterday!
Bruce is the baker there. I am so proud
of my little chef! He has been working
very hard this summer on refreshing his
baking skills. Some students there have
already blogged that it was very good!
Congratulations, Chef Bruce!

P.S. Our little peanut is 4 months
along as of today! I have another
ultrasound on September 14! We have
started a registry at Target too!
Yes it might be a little soon, but
hey we are excited!

This little sweetheart turned 4 months
recently! Her mommy and Natalie work
together. She was such a great sport
and we got to do lots of costume
changes! Mommy (Amber) was very
happy with the shots so I'm sure I
will be posted more of her!

Can you believe my niece is 6 months old!
Man time flies! She is such a joy and I
really don't know what we would have done
these last few months without her! Not
to mention she has helped me prepare
for my lil' peanut! I love you big girl!

B had a GREAT trip to Philadelphia! He had early
classes ( had to be there at 4 am!!!!) So he
really got alot of time to explore the city!
Of course , lots of cheesesteaks were involved!
Not to mention some really neat Irish places,
one called Fado, which they have one in Atlanta
so I'm sure we will be visiting there! It sounds
like a really cool city and has something for
everyone! My heart still belongs to Chicago,
but I always have more room for another big
city!

Summer Fun!

 

 

 

Bruce took this first shot of me yesterday after
church! I will be 15 weeks tomorrow and the
pants aren't fittin' like they used to! But
that is quite alright! The next two were taken
by Wayne, Deborah's(middle) hubby, on
Friday night before we went to Anniston. We
attended the American Cancer Society's
"Little Black Dress Party"!
All the proceeds went to the ACS and I can't
think of a better cause! Jessica (on the left)
lost her mom to breast cancer at only 11 years
old. We all have lost someone to this horrible
disease and I hope there is a cure soon!

LeeAnn's Bridal Shower!

My cousin LeeAnn had her bridal shower Sunday!
She had a great turnout and got 4 , yes 4 Tea
Makers!! It was so funny! Apparently her fiance
told everyone that was what they needed! I am
shooting her wedding on Sept. 26! Should be
interesting since I will be 5 months along!

Bruce is in Philly!

B left Sunday morning for his business trip to
Philadelphia! He is really enjoying it so far,
but man I miss him! I don't sleep too well these
days, thanks to Baby, but it's worse with him
gone! Hopefully this week goes by very fast!
We got to hear the Baby's heartbeat last week
at the Dr's visit and it was so sweet to hear!
I go back in 5 weeks and we will have another
ultrasound! I am 14 weeks today...technically
in the 2nd trimester...but still queasy~ I
hope it is about over...Natalie tells me the
next 2nd trim. is much better~
