What a Week!

Wow...this has been such a busy and exciting week!!!
For starters, my little sister is a MOMMA!! I am so thrilled
for her!I am like a kid waiting for Christmas now because I can't
wait to see Allie and take her pictures! And did I mention
I have worked all week as usual, and moving out of our apt??
Our landlord offered to let us out of our lease so we
agreed... and after work we have been packing up...so needless
to say it has been a little busy!! We will be staying with our
in-laws in their beautiful new house...so lots of changes
going on...my coworker, Kay, is gone to Arizona for the
week so I am stressing over being by myself a little
too...but I'm sure everything will be fine...but I hope
these next two weeks fly by for me...and we will be
Bama bound!

Allie's ARRIVAL!!!

Miss Allie Grace Humphrey was born at 11:10! She weighs
7 lbs and 13 oz and is 21 inches long!!! Congratulations,
Mommy & Daddy! I will post a picture as soon as I get one!!

Natalie started having contractions this morning..ON HER DUE DATE!!! So she is at the hospital now...we are all hoping that Miss Allie comes very soon...especially
Natalie!!! I wish I was there!


UPDATE!!! Nat has been moved into her "suite" at St. Vincents....
they will begin inducing her at 5 a.m.!!! Good Luck toota!!!
I love you!!!

UPDATE #2 : Natalie has just got her epidural...she has had a
rough night...Mom and Kevin stayed overnight and helped out..
Allie could be here by lunchtime!!

Is it springtime yet?

 

I just have to whine for a moment...is it not almost MARCH???!!!
In college..I would be heading to the beach in about a month
for Spring Break...and look what I woke up to!!!
It took me about half an hour to shovel out the driveway
(the snow was up past my ankles)and then dig my poor 4-runner
out of the mess...I knew if I didn't do it today I would
probably be stuck by Monday morning...this is the worst snow
since probably right after Christmas...I hope it's the last one too!!!

I had a great time at Notre Dame today! Even though we
woke up to another white mess, Kay picked me up and we had
to be at McKenna Hall by 8 a.m. They had a wonderful breakfast
spread and the speakers were very informative! We had lectures
in the big auditorium and I had to take a shot of that podium!
It was so pretty and we even had a catered lunch! It was really
one of the best seminars I have ever been to. I also got 4 CEU's
(continuing education credits) which is good because I have to
have a total of 24 this year for my R.T. certification. I also
got paid by the clinic to attend! My only complaint is that
they start too early!

p.s. I am going to Notre Dame tomorrow for a Cardiology seminar..yes, that's right...little ole me will be walking in the Irish halls! Who would've known! It's payback since Bruce got to meet Coach Saban and go to all the UA functions when he was a member of the Red Elephant's last year:)

3. I love the fact that my husband loves to cook even when he does it all day long
4. I think it took moving to the North to realize how much I love the South
5. I love to shop...I think that is why I like Chicago so much!
6. I want my husband and me to start taking dance lessons but he has 2 left feet

8. I have a new respect for the word "winter"
9. I need to get in shape b/c I see everyday at work what obesity,tobacco, alcohol and noncompliance will do to the human body
10. I think it is so important to marry someone that brings out the best in you

12. I want to go to Hawaii, Italy, France, New York, Vegas, and L.A. and the list goes on..
13. I will always think Dirty Dancing is the best movie ever made
14. I am a artsy person...I love musicals, art, photography, and interior design
15. I love to travel and so thankful that my hubby does too
16. I am slightly claustrophobic and refuse to step on a crowded elevator
17. I try to celebrate what I do have and not focus on what I don't
18. I really wish I would've had the opportunity to go to the University of Alabama
19. I am obsessed with Vera Bradley and have been to the big warehouse sale twice
20. I have always wanted to design gowns and would love to go to Fashion Week in NYC
21. I despise ignorance and people that are close-minded
22. I wish I were more domestic and didn't hate cleaning and laundry soooo much
23. I think a dream job would be a celebrity photographer or magazine editor
24. I miss my family and friends more than they will ever know
25. I am definitely a WARM weather person...102 I can handle, -2 I can NOT lol
